Act Two: Baron Scarpia's room at Palazzo Farnese
Whilst dining
alone, Scarpia (Peter Knapp) hears the sound of celebrations from outside. He
orders a servant to give a note to Floria Tosca inviting her to
join him after she has finished her recital.
He cynically
sings Ella verrą per amor del suo Mario, (She will come out of
love for her Mario.)
